Karlynn is thrilled to be joining the team this year at Boclair from Kingsacre Care Home where she has been since April 2021. Karlynn has been a nurse in the Health and Social Care sector since 2010 and has a great passion for caring for the elderly and takes great pride in providing a warm and welcoming environment for the residents and their relatives.
Laura is a well-experienced nurse, having worked in the role since 2008, and prior to that working in the care of the elderly. Laura excels in providing palliative care and completing anticipatory care planning and believes that working with the elderly is one of the most rewarding jobs there is. Laura has now been promoted to Deputy Manager.
Laura was even on ‘This Morning’ with Holly and Phil and went live to the nation during lockdown as the face of the new front line.
Irene brings a wealth of experience to her role having worked in care homes for 17 years in administration roles. Irene will often be your first point of contact and is excited to be part of the team welcoming residents and their families to Boclair.
I have been a chef for over 20 years starting out in restaurants and have worked in care homes for over 15 years. I love what I do and wouldn’t change it for the world. One of my favourite things is creating nutritional menus for our residents and also the sweet treats. Their nutritional health is very important to me and I do my upmost best to make sure I am giving the residents the best I can offer
John is a Senior Carer at Boclair and is our Introduction Ambassador. He has a wealth of experience and is much much-loved team member. John is known for being hard-working and was awarded the ‘Trusted Award’ from ‘The Values of The Month’.
Scott used to be an Architect and on retiring decided to try something new. He has a wealth of experience in care homes and has started at Boclair with a flair and has good humour and great ideas.
Scott is hardworking and trustworthy and always strives to be better. Scott is very willing to learn. Scott has worked in kitchens for the last 12 years. Scott enjoys catering to residents, and learning what the residents like and dislike as this makes the food feel more personal.
I am a Kitchen Porter and my job is to keep the kitchen tidy and clean, wash up and help the chefs with food prep. My interests are cycling, retro-computing, art and environmentalism.
Gary is a catering assistant at Boclair Care Home. Gary enjoys his job as the people are all so friendly and the staff he works with are an amazing team he couldn’t have asked for a better bunch.
Karen loves working as a Receptionist as she thoroughly enjoys meeting people. She has a vast experience in this role and will bring many skills with her. Karen is known to give 100% and goes above and beyond for anyone.
