Boclair Care Home is Coming Together Nicely

Building Progress

This week, the team including our Home Manager, Maxine, Regional Director, Alan Twigg, and Divisional Director, Ian Cavanagh made a visit to the Boclair site in Bearsden to catch up with our Property Development Director, Gary Renton to see how work on the 80-bed care home is progressing.

Walking around the site, first impressions showed just how spacious the home will be and how it will take advantage of an abundance of light. It was great for the team to see how well the home is coming together and with paint on the walls and tiles in the bathrooms, it is clear to see that Boclair Care Home is well and truly coming to life.

The home also boasts a wide range of bedrooms that are light and airy and some will benefit from two windows. All of the rooms are fitted with modern yet stunning en-suite bathrooms, and there will also be the option for large corner rooms which are perfect for double occupancy or for residents to have their very own seating area.

During the visit, Maxine excitedly got to see what will be her new office (pictured below) and also shown was the communal areas of lounges and dining rooms which again are light and airy and will offer future residents a wide variety of choice in relaxing, socialising and celebrating. The home's internal colours for décor are calming and homely, and with the home offering a variety of balconies, patios, and outward views, residents will be able to appreciate the tranquility of the great outdoors too.

With our marketing suite, which will include a number of bedrooms, a lounge, dining room, and quiet lounge, expected to be open in April and the home set to welcome residents later in summer, the team is extremely excited to see how the home will continue to develop over the next couple of months.
