Showcasing Art & Crafts as Boclair Care Home Turns One

We have been working towards celebrating Boclair Care Home's first birthday and the residents have worked hard to display their Art & Crafts for everyone to enjoy. This has encouraged everyone to show their talents and for some, to find their talents.

I think this has been a wonderful idea to show off our residents' artwork and display it like an art gallery for visitors and family members to admire. A well done to Scott our Social Coordinator for helping us to develop our talents and show them off.

In August, the ladies of Boclair also took part in a races day where they dressed up in their best attire, got their hair and nails done and wore their fascinators for a day of horse racing, placing some bets and enjoying a ladies' lunch. We even had our own commentator, where Scott our Social Coordinator got into character for the day.

The ladies had a fantastic time, and it brought back memories of their younger days when they would regularly attend the racecourses.

We look forward to seeing what the rest of August brings to Boclair Care Home in Bearsden! We have our 1st Birthday Party on Friday 18th of August which is guaranteed to be a fun and vibrant atmosphere with lots of food, drink, music, socialising and celebration!
