Celebrating Our 2nd Birthday with Line Dancing

Boclair Care Home in Bearsden recently marked a wonderful milestone – its second anniversary! To celebrate this special occasion, residents, staff, families, and members of the local community came together for a lively afternoon of music, dancing, and shared joy.

The festivities were kicked off with a special performance from Maggie of Maggie's Rock n' Rodeo, who brought along her infectious energy and taught residents and visitors alike a few line dancing moves. Maggie’s visit had everyone on their feet, whether tapping along to the rhythm or giving the dance steps a go. Line dancing proved a delightful way to get everyone moving, and we all had a ball!

After working up an appetite, everyone gathered to share a delicious birthday cake and a glass of prosecco to toast the care home’s second year. It was a wonderful chance for residents to connect with their families, make new friends in the community, and celebrate the warm, welcoming home that Boclair has become over the past two years.
