Celebrating International Support Workers Day at Boclair Care Home

Boclair House Cake

We've recently celebrated International Support Workers Day, a day that celebrates and shows our appreciation for the essential roles across all health and social care settings. Boclair Care Home showed everyone how important all of our staff members are, doing an invaluable job, from the kitchen staff and housekeeping, to maintenance, activity coordinators and carers.

Boclair Care Home in Glasgow is always receiving support from others, in which we are very grateful for. We liaise with local communities such as having visits from Boclair House Hotel. We've also been out to sing songs at the new Kilpatrick Church and we even did some sledging when we had some snow, all having a lovely time!

Every week we now also have visits from the Salvation Army, with local carol services which everyone really enjoys. We love to have a real community spirit within Boclair Care Home, everyone joins in and always mentions how excellent it is to have this wonderful community around our residents.

If you'd like to book a tour round our care home, please don't hesitate to contact us, our friendly and welcoming staff will be happy to show you around and answer any questions you may have.
