Respite Care FAQs

Respite care at Boclair Care Home is available to individuals in need of short-term support. It serves as an opportunity for recovery and assistance, especially when caregivers require a break from their caregiving responsibilities. If you or a loved one requires full-time care, respite care can also be used as a 4-week trial period to determine if a care home is the right fit for permanent care.

Our care services are accessible to all residents, regardless of the duration of their stay. While staying with us, each individual will have their own bedroom, have their meals provided, enjoy a variety of activities and entertainment, have access to in-house facilities and receive support with daily tasks. Depending on the specific care needs of the individual, nursing care may also be given.

The duration of a respite stay will be different for each individual requirements and the availability of respite care beds. At Boclair Care Home, there is a minimum stay of 3 weeks to ensure that residents have plenty of time to settle in and benefit from our care service.
